About Highbury Community House
Highbury Community House is a vibrant, diverse and welcoming Community House established 40 years ago, previously the location of Birkenhead police station. Our lovely historic villa is located near to the Auckland Harbour Bridge and main arterial routes in Birkenhead on Auckland’s North Shore. We have a wonderful history of supporting our community to connect and grow, offering venue hire and providing workshops and classes to the community at low cost. The Community House also holds various events throughout the year where the community can come together to connect and foster wellbeing.
Venue hire
Highbury Community House is conveniently located right in the heart of Birkenhead Point with local cafes, shops, within walking distance and great access with buses and ferries. Three rooms available for hire seven days a week, and we accept casual or regular hire during the day, evenings, or weekends for meetings, workshops, staff training, counselling, classes and more. Wi-Fi, private car park and a ramp for wheelchair/pram access and kitchen facilities are also available.
