About Māngere East Hall (Metro Theatre)
Māngere East Hall (formerly known as Metro Theatre) reflects the influence of the 1920s and the Charleston era with elaborate lattice ceilings. Located adjacent to Māngere East Library and Massey Homestead, this venue is ideal for a range of different activities, including workshops, rehearsals, performances, wedding receptions, functions and meetings.
Our team
Our venue hire team is available Monday to Thursday from 8am to 6.30pm and Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.
Venue hire
Suitable for up to 100 people seated, the hall includes a stage and kitchen. There is also off-street parking available, including accessible parks. Māngere East Hall can be booked from 5am - midnight, 7 days a week, including public holidays.
