About Mt Roskill War Memorial Hall
Mt Roskill War Memorial Hall was opened in 1955 by then-mayor Keith Hay, with the memorial monument to the right of the hall being added in 1959. The venue is located on May Road within the War Memorial Park, which is also home to the May Road skate park and sports fields.

Our venue hire team is available Monday to Thursday from 8am to 6.30pm and Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.
Venue hire
The Mt Roskill War Memorial Hall has two spaces for hire. With its large kitchen, wooden floors and stage, the Anzac Room is perfect for a range of different activities and events for up to 210 people. For smaller groups, the Freyberg Room is a great option with a capacity of 30. This room also has its own kitchenette. There is plenty of off-street parking available, including two accessible car parks. The Mt Roskill War Memorial Hall is able to be booked from 5am to midnight, 7 days a week, including public holidays.
