About Ōrere War Memorial Hall
Ōrere War Memorial Hall is a small but cosy rural hall at the centre of Ōrere. The hall was erected in 1956 and dedicated in honour to those who gave their lives in service in World War I and World War II. The land that the hall was built on was donated and the hall was built by local volunteers.

Ōrere War Memorial Hall has heritage features and a capacity of 150 people. The wood paneling and flooring are in the traditional country hall style and make it a great venue to hold weddings, birthday parties and community events. At the front of the hall is a stage, and there are chairs and tables stored in the back room, which can be used by hirers. The hall has a kitchenette, an accessible toilet and an entrance ramp.
