Cultural and ethnic community groups​

Auckland is home to more than 180 ethnicities. In many places, residents who share the same culture come together for social activities, to celebrate cultural festivals, to help each other, to preserve and share language and cultural knowledge, or showcase and share their arts and culture with others. 

To find out about the cultural and ethnic community groups and organisations that exist in your area,

• search the CAB’s community directory
• contact organisations providing settlement support services
• visit local places of worship.
