WATCH: The Manukau Harbour's stunning beauty

The vast Manukau Harbour is a natural taonga and it needs our ongoing care and attention.

In 2010, nine Auckland Council local boards that surround the Manukau Harbour joined to create the Manukau Harbour Forum and provide a stronger plan to improve and protect the significant social, cultural, ecological and environmental values of the area. This year they have had a short video created. The Manukau Harbour: Through our eyes.

This five-minute video explains what is so special about the Manukau Harbour and why members of the Maunakau Harbour Forum are so inspired to help return it to health.
