Personality:

 

Playful, bubbly and full of energy, Ant Man is a fun loving boy who thrives on interaction and play time with his people. He is a bit of an attention seeker and can get over excited and mouthy when he is stimulated, but with clear boundaries and consistent guidance he settles well and is eager to learn. A happy, cheeky boy who will keep you smiling.

Tamariki – 10+ due to excitement/over stimulation.
Cats – No cats, will chase.

Kūri – Friendly. Needs ongoing socialisation.
Stock/poultry – Untested. 
Size – Currently 5.8kgs. Likely to mature large in size.

Ant Man is looking for a loving, experienced home that can offer gentle guidance, clear boundaries and consistency as he navigates his puppy phase. With ongoing training, socialisation and lots of encouragement, he’ll grow into a confident, well balanced boy. In return, he’ll shower your days with playful energy, cuddles and endless puppy joy.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
