Personality:

 

This chunky girl is the dictionary definition of sweet. She is super smoochy with people but independent with playtime, preferring to play by herself. She is still learning how to play with people. With ongoing training, she would be a lovely addition to most homes.

 

Tamariki – 5+ while she builds confidence.
Cats – Sacred of shelter cat - ok with correct intros and supervision.

Kūri – Social. Ongoing socialisation required due to age.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 6.5kgs. Likely to mature large in size.

 

Ideal home:

 

Charmander would be perfect in an active household that is willing to dedicate time to having a puppy. Ongoing training including puppy school and proper socialisation are important.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
