Personality:

 

Corriedale is a gentle and curious pup who may be a bit shy when meeting new people or in unfamiliar places but once she feels comfortable, her sweet, affectionate and playful nature comes out. She is a snugglebug and thrives off attention and playtime.

 

Tamariki – Any age provided correct intros and supervision.
Cats – Wants to play with shelter cat, confident cat preferred.

Kūri – Needs to learn some manners when meeting but is friendly.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – 12.95kgs. Likely to mature medium to large in size.

 

Ideal home:

 

While Corriedale can be shy at times, she has a playful wairua and wants to be loved. A family who will cherish her, provide training and socialisation will be ideal for her. She is smart so providing not only exercise but enrichment and new learning opportunities will really help her shine.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
