Personality

Mochi is a total sweetheart who adores human company and loves nothing more than curling up close for a cuddle. She’s the kind of dog who would happily be your sunbathing buddy, often found stretched out and soaking up the warmth on those Auckland summer days. Mochi has a bright, bubbly nature, enjoys meeting new people, and with a little encouragement, has a playful side that comes out with her toys.

Tamariki: Suitable for children aged 5+ who are dog-savvy
Cats: Not yet assessed, but likely to do well with calm, gradual introductions
Other dogs: Would benefit from a friendly canine companion or regular doggy playdates
Stock/Poultry: Calm around chickens
Size: Will grow into a large dog, approximately 30kg when fully grown

Ideal home

Mochi would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can continue building her confidence at her own pace. A quieter environment with clear structure will help her feel safe and secure as she settles in. Ideally, she would have another friendly dog in the home or regular opportunities to socialise and play with canine friends.

She’s best suited to an experienced home that enjoys training, enrichment, and fun. Mochi is very food-motivated, which will make training rewarding and enjoyable for both her and her future family. With patience, guidance, and plenty of affection, Mochi is sure to blossom into a clever, joyful, and deeply loyal companion
