About Otter

Personality:

 

Otter is a fun, playful girl. She loves a good came of fetch, has good training focus and knows 'sit' well.

 

Tamariki – 5+ as she is still a little jumpy but getting better every day.
Cats – Untested.

Kūri – Unsure when first meeting, needs ongoing socialisation.
Stock/poultry – Ok with poultry.
Size – Currently 28.5kgs and is fully grown.

 

Ideal home:

 

We’re looking for a home willing to invest time and effort into training and enrichment to help Otter truly shine. At this stage, she would do best as an only dog while she continues to work on dog introductions and appropriate socialisation. With the right support, Otter has so much potential to flourish.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
