Personality:

 

Meet Pikachu, where, true to his name, cuteness meets attitude. This is the coolest pup of is fun, interactive and playful but is not hy to tell you off if you are not paying him enough attention. He loves soft toys and balls and will happily amuse himself with them.

 

Tamariki – Children any age provided proper intros and supervision.
Cats – Ok with cats provided proper intros and training.

Kūri – Friendly. Needs ongoing socialisation due to age.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 1.8kgs. Likely to mature small to medium in size. 

 

Ideal home:

 

At this age, puppies need plenty of guidance to help set them up for a happy, healthy life. Puppy school and ongoing training will be important, along with continued socialisation. As his world has been quite small so far, Pikachu will benefit from gentle exposure and confidence building as he grows.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
