Personality:

Shy at first, Suffolk is a gentle and affectionate girl who quickly learns to love being close to her people. Once she knows you are kind, her playful side begins to shine, bringing out a sweet and fun loving personality.

She loves attention and enjoys those quiet moments of connection, but also has a playful streak, especially when her favourite rope or soft toy is involved. With a little patience and reassurance, Suffolk blossoms into a loving companion who will happily share both playtime and cuddles.

Tamariki – Ok provided correct intros and supervision.
Cats – Nervous of cats, should be ok with correct intros and training.

Kūri – Friendly, ongoing socialisation needed due to age.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 9.1kgs. Likely to mature large in size.

Ideal home:

Suffolk would thrive in a home with someone who has training or breed experience and understands how to support a shy dog as she builds confidence. She will benefit from gentle guidance, positive reinforcement, and ongoing confidence building to help her feel safe and secure.

Most importantly, Suffolk needs a home filled with patience and love, where she can take things at her own pace and continue to grow into the affectionate, playful girl she is becoming.

With gentle guidance and endless love, Suffolk will reward you with loyalty, cuddles, and the kind of happiness only a devoted dog can give.
