About Waltz

Personality:

 

Walts is a sweet puppy but she can be a lot sometimes. She wants to be involved in everything and can get a little overstimulated but she is very good with correction and is super smart so with training, these behaviours will soon be a thing of the past. 

 

Tamariki – 10+ due to over stimulation and needing good boundaries.

Cats – Confident cats only, she was interested in the shelter cat.

Kūri – Friendly. Needs ongoing socialisation due to age.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 2.6kgs. Likely to mature medium to large in size.

 

Ideal home:

 

We are looking for a kind, caring home that will ensure consistency and boundaries while also prioritise ongoing training and socialisation.

 

In accordance with the Dog Control Act 1996, Waltz will be classified as Menacing by Breed and will need to adhere to the conditions attached to this.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
