Meet the authors and facilitator
- Michael Bennett (Ngāti Pikiao, Ngāti Whakaue) is an award-winning screenwriter, director, and author. His previous work, "In Dark Places," won Best Non-Fiction Book at the Ngaio Marsh Awards. "Return to Blood" is the sequel to his acclaimed novel, "Better the Blood."
- Gavin Strawhan is a creator, writer, and showrunner known for his work on shows like Shortland Street and Outrageous Fortune. "The Call" is his gripping debut crime novel, winner of the 2023 Allen & Unwin Fiction Prize.
- Facilitated by Darise Bennington, an Auckland lawyer and Ngaio Marsh Awards judge.
