Calling all aspiring young writers! In this creative writing workshop for young people aged 13 - 20 years, Eileen Merriman, award-winning author of the Black Spiral Trilogy and Catch Me When You Fall (among many others!), will delve into the art of crafting compelling characters.
In this one-hour session, you will learn how to create characters and how to write from different points of view. You will be given practical exercises and have the opportunity to ask questions and receive feedback in a supportive environment.
Even if you're a beginner, this workshop is a perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity and take your writing to the next level.
Light refreshments and kai will be provided after the workshop.

About the facilitator
Eileen Merriman is an award-winning novelist, short story and flash fiction writer. Several of her young adult novels have been finalists in the NZ Children’s and Young Adult Book Awards.
