Online medical museum Our Health Journeys is offering an exploration of aspects of Auckland history – partially inspired by collections held at Papakura Museum. Take a driving audio tour of Papakura and surrounding suburbs to learn about the area's medical and Pasifika history. Using Google Maps and SoundCloud, the tour is designed for people to experience in their own time during the Auckland Heritage Festival 2024.
The tour begins and ends at Papakura Museum, and as part of its own Heritage Festival event, the museum will have images on display that complement the driving tour. So why not head inside and check out the museum too!
