Grey Lynn: from the eeling ground of mana whenua and its colonial carve-up, to the progression of Victorian and Edwardian homes, early industry and left-wing politics, the arrival of Pasifika peoples, the boho scene, the queer community, and home makeover mavens… has this neighbourhood seen more changes than any other in Aotearoa?

Come along for the launch of historian Tania Mace’s comprehensive, richly illustrated new book The Near West – a History of Grey Lynn, Arch Hill & Westmere.
