Ark in the Park is located in the Waitākere Ranges. From Scenic Drive: turn into Te Henga Road, then turn left at Falls Road, the first road on the left at the beautifully painted Ark in the Park bus stop.
Continue along Falls Rd past the Waitākere Golf Club where the road becomes gravelled, past the green Golf Club depot until you see the Ranger Station sign on the right & F&B flag.

Learn about NZ's unique biodiversity conservation by controlling invasive predators (trapping & baiting) and pest plants.
This activity is ideal for individuals over 14 years old and adults with good fitness and is not suitable for children.
We will meet at 8:30 am for a health and safety briefing and to gear up, then head out to the bush at 9 am.
We will return to the base at 12:30 pm for a sausage sizzle and to catch up with other volunteers.
