Join us in recognition of Women’s Suffrage, for the reveal of the next iteration of our Corban Heritage Wall, which celebrates the spirit and fortitude of the Corban women; the not-so-quiet force behind the rise of the historic Corban Estate Winery.

At the unveiling of the new wall, Sharon Alexander, a great-granddaughter of matriarch Najibie Corban, will entertain us with timeless family anecdotes passed down through the generations, including details of her inspirational Mother Miriam Corban, recipient of the New Zealand  Suffrage Centennial Medal in 1993. To finish the event, refreshments will be served along with a Camellia flower-making activity in honour of Suffrage Day.

All profits raised from the ticket sales of this event will be donated to Parents Centre Aotearoa, a charity dedicated to supporting parents in natural child birth that evolved from Miriam Corban’s early work in the development of the Natural Child Birth Association.
