Situated at the community art gallery on Great Barrier Island. This is Janenes first print making exhibition called "First Impressions". A journey through her experimantation and exploration of the pyhsical materials used in making plates whilst also covering a range of subjects and emotions.
Although Janene is no stranger to creating, her main medium is fibre. If you have ever visited the island you would have stumbled across Janenes fantastic wearable yarn creations.
"First impressions" is the rediscovery of Janenes love for collagraph printing. Having not printed since High School.
