Moana Oceania creatures

Amidst the vibrant celebration of Pacific culture, our free workshop invites families and children to explore the wonders of marine life native to the Pacific Ocean. Participants will have the chance to craft clay sculptures of turtles, whales, and other oceanic wildlife that are integral to the cultural and ecological fabric of Pacific Island communities.

This engaging workshop aligns with the festival's theme, "Moana Oceania - the Great Connector," by highlighting the rich marine life that links Pacific nations to Tamaki Makaurau. Through hands-on creation and storytelling, attendees will discover the significance of these sea creatures, deepening their appreciation for the shared heritage and traditions of the Pacific.
