Come and join Kaipātiki Project for a hands-on, behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to nurtur and protect our local nature reserves!
As regular volunteers led by expert ecologists, we're dedicated to preserving Eskdale Reserve (one of Auckland’s largest Significant Ecological Areas), and making a positive impact on the environment. Our regeneration work contributes to climate resilience and mitigation by capturing carbon, reducing flood risk, and nurturing biodiverse life above land and below water. Join us for hands-on climate action!
Did you know that spending time in nature has proven to increase wellbeing? Studies have shown that being in nature, and especially being active or getting your hands dirty can massively reduce stress and anxiety, improve overall health and brain function, and lead to increased happiness!
These happy health effects can be significantly amplified when the experience is also sociable, so tell your friends to come along, or make new friends with our group of regular local volunteers!
Booking for this event is essential but not required, as spaces are limited for health and safety reasons.
