Roving the Red Planet: A Stellar Holiday Adventure in Mars Rover Robotics!

Take these school holidays to the next level and travel out of this world to the rocky landscape of Mars in a one hour educator-led session on robotics! You get to build and code a LEGO Mars Rover to drive over the Martian surface, before racing other crews through a Martian maze to the finish line.

There will be spot prizes for the most inventive, manoeuvrable, and quickest robots. After your robot race, enjoy one of our most popular shows, Mars 1001, followed by a water rocket demonstration (weather/wind permitting).

The robot building will be done in teams of three, so grab two friends and come together, or come along and be allocated a team and make some new friends in the process.

(Children under 14 years old must have a supervising adult with them at all times).

Recommended for ages 7+
Duration: 150mins
