BOOKISH MOVIES AT THE LIBRARY  

MOVIE: MOLLY MOON and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism (pg) 

Bring some snacks and join us for a movie this summer in the library. Based on the book by Georgia Byng, Molly Moon lives in an orphanage with her best friend Rocky and her pug dog, Petula. After discovering a book about hypnotism, and learning how to hypnotise, she uses her powers to escape to London and star in a play on the West End. But is being a star what she really wants?

RAUMATI READS CRAFT SESSION

Recommended for ages 5-12

Drop in and get creative with a variety of crafts based on the Raumati Reads Activity Challenges! Have fun making crafts and tick off a challenge or two in your Raumati Reads Activity Guide.

Worm Farming for Kids & Whanau Workshop with Compost Collective

Suitable for children from 3 to 9 years.

Join Pip from Compost Collective for this Worm Farming for Kids and Whanau Workshop, which offers a dive into the world of Tiger Worms! You will get a hands-on look at these amazing composters and learn how to convert your food waste to fertiliser for your plants.

You will hear the worm story, see the worm suit, and do some hands-on biology for the whole whanau!

MINECRAFT CLUB: SUMMER CHALLENGE

Own a device with Minecraft loaded onto it is required to participate and bring your Minecraft loaded device and have a go at our special summer school holiday challenge. Have fun sharing your skills and tips and making new Minecraft friends.

Recommended for ages 8 - 12

Get ready for a new year of school by stopping by and making some awesome Badges and melty bead Bag Tags for your school bag!

MOVIE: DEAR DUMB DIARY (pg) 

Bring some snacks and join us for a movie in the library this summer! Based on the best-selling series "Dear Dumb Diary" by Jim Benton. Eleven year-old Jamie marches to the beat of her own music video. An artistic and energetic glitter-loving diva in the making, her vivid daydreams about how life should be are often played out as full-blown musical productions, as she writes her innermost thoughts in her beloved Dumb Diary.

END OF SUMMER PARTY AND MAGIC SHOW

The school holidays are coming to a close and we want to finish them in style! Come into the library and join us for some super fun party games, a magic show, and lots and lots of bubbles!  

Free parking at the venue and the event is accessible by public transport.
