Join us for a cultural whānau day at Central City Library. Listen to some stories from Iran and Sri Lanka, watch a demonstration of Filipino bamboo dancing, and then try and master some fancy footwork yourself.
Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day exploring Persian, Sri Lankan and Filipino culture through stories, music and traditional games. This event is suitable for all ages.
Persian and Sri Lankan storytelling: 11am-12.30pm
Filipino bamboo dance: 2.30pm-3.30pm
