Head along to the stunning park setting behind Albany Mall. Albany Civic Lakes will ring out with some great tunes from Shallow Dive, Back to the Hillside and SOJØURN.
Our opening act, Shallow Dive, captivates listeners with the rich tones of classic semi-hollow electric guitars, awash with delay. Backed by powerful drums, bass, and vocals, they create a mesmerizing world of sonic beauty.
Back to the Hillside is an “alt-rock/shoegaze/post-punk” group from Auckland. Although this band claims that genres feel like ill-fitting clothes – they’re doing their own thing in their own way.
Rounding out this resonant line-up is SOJØURN, a surf-psych-reggae band hailing from the sun-drenched surf-town of Mangawhai.
