To help commemorate ANZAC Day the three bands within North Shore Brass Academy will perform at Takapuna Normal Intermediate on ANZAC Day.
The concert will feature solos, marches and light items as well as reflective and motivating music remembering our ANZAC’s and other service men and women that have served in war and peace keeping missions.
Performing in the concert will be 10-year-old Celine Wu from Sunnynook Primary School who is the NZ Under 15 Champion from 2023 and 2024. Celine has recently featured on RNZ National and will be performing the Last Post on ANZAC Day in Browns Bay as their special guest.
The three bands are North Shore Youth Brass (2019 Champion Youth Band of NZ) the North Shore Brass Community Band, which is an all-comers band and they join the North Shore Brass Academy Band – 2022 champion D grade band of NZ - who now compete nationally in the C grade in some rousing music that will have you wanting more.
