Join Adam from Compost Collective and make your own DIY worm farm. Learn how to take care of your worms and turn your food scraps into compost, a superfood for your garden!
Please bring 2 ice cream containers with lids and a small bag of food scraps to feed the worms.

Your children will discover that water can exist in three different states: solid, liquid and gas. They will find out how this relates to the water cycle and how the water cycle works. They will also learn how to make a water cycle using simple materials, and make their own in a bag.

Bring an old T-shirt with you, and the Wastewise Team will help you turn it into your own wonderful, reusable bag!
You’ll also hear about how to reduce waste during the holiday season, like Easter.

Come to our library, and join Auckland Zoo’s Conservation Learning team, here, to travel back in time, to feel fossils, explore ancient eggs, and learn about prehistoric giants that once roamed the Earth! Then, dig your way to the Dinosaur Discovery Track at the Zoo and put your knowledge to the test!
