As part of NZ Archaeology Week join us at Highwic to meet an archaeologist and learn about what they do. See some of the artefacts that have been found here on site and have a go at being an archaeologist yourself! A hands-on activity ideal for children 7 to 12 years accompanied by an adult.
Children need to be accompanied by at least one adult (up to 3 children to 1 adult).
Staff will supervise the activities, but we will ask a few adults to get involved as well.
Accompanying adults may like to visit the house, tea and coffee will be available. Bring a picnic and have lunch in the garden after the event.
