We are a volunteer-led, parent-run community playgroup that has been operating in Sandringham for over 20 years. We are for children aged 5 years and under, their parents and caregivers.
Stay for as little or as long as you like, on whichever days you prefer. We have two coordinators who share our sessions. Jane is an ECE teacher and mum to two little boys and Mary is a Sandringham local who has brought her children and now grandchildren to Sandringham Playgroup.
We are located at the back of the Sandringham Community Centre in the fully fenced playground area at 18 - 20 Kitchener Rd, Sandringham. We have some covered outdoor space and an indoor playroom with a kitchenette (with tea/coffee and biscuits for the caregivers).
We are open during the school holidays with a short break over the Christmas / New Year period. We ask for a donation of $2 per family per session. We provide fun activities, lots of toys, music and story sessions, and a fun, relaxed environment for children and caregivers in our community to connect.
