Enjoy live performances, hands-on workshops, face painting, food trucks, market stalls, and more. Bring your whānau, friends, and neighbours for a fun, art-filled afternoon!
PERFORMANCES:
- Circus performances by Te Māwhaiwhai, Dust Palace Youth Performance Company
- Cultural dance performance by Ballet Folclórico Peru NZ
- Sound Bath experience by Mary Mark
- Live music: The Obfuscators (four piece original avant-garde music)
- Stageworks Dance & Performing Arts (SPDA) dancers
- Live music L’Accademia from pianist Flavio Villani & others
- Rope Flow demonstration & workshop by Matt Gibbons
WORKSHOPS & PARTICIPATION:
- Rope Flow workshop on The Green
- Have a Go - Circus workshop on The Green with Te Kura Maninirau mentors
- Face painting for kids by Ana
- Art activities for kids by Creative Rume
- Ōrākei portrait archive - have your portrait taken to go into the official Ōrākei Portrait Archive
- Poi making workshop with Kororia Witika (must be accompanied by an adult)
Free performances and workshops all day (adults and kids activities and music).
No booking necessary, just come along and get involved.
All children under the age of 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
