Celebrate Lunar New Year with the vibrant sounds of Aotearoa New Zealand's Asian Diasporic musicians as they light up Aotea Square! From indie pop and high-octane alt-rock to sharp hip hop and cinematic soul-pop.

Catch Chinese-Kiwi indie-pop artist Raging Flowers and her intoxicating blend of jazz and folk-punk, then feel the high-energy of message-driven Kiwi-Japanese rangatahi rapper XPLSV, followed by hip hop and R&B New Zealand-Korean artist Newko.

Enjoy the remarkable vocals of dāndān woven with Chinese aesthetics, get captivated by unique melodies and violin notes of tee., then dive into cinematic soul-pop blended with traditional Chinese influences with Ersha Island.

Groove to hip-hop and R&B producer, singer and songwriter Tei and end the night with the passionate, infectious sounds of Kin-Kachow, rooted in their Thai and Nepalese heritage.

After successful events in Potters Park, Basement Theatre and Ponsonby Social Club, ASIAN(SOUND)SCAPES returns for its fourth edition as part of Auckland Live Summer in the Square. The perfect Lunar line up – come and experience them live and then add them to your playlist!

The full schedule will be dropping in January - stay tuned.

Proudly supported by Auckland Council Events and the city centre targeted rate.
