This event is one for the littlies! Bring your children on an adventure to the Auckland Botanic Gardens for a daytime performance featuring some of New Zealand’s top kids’ artists. Get ready to sing and dance in a beautiful garden setting with Anika Moa, Claudia Gunn, and Spellodies!
This line-up is led by Anika Moa, the well-known Aotearoa musician behind the chart-topping Songs for Bubbas series. Her award-winning work for children features a mix of original tunes and covers, with lyrics in both English and Te Reo Māori.
She is joined by Claudia Robin Gunn, a Best Children's Artist winner at the Aotearoa Music Awards (2024), who performs dynamic, enchanting folk pop, blending strong melodies with imaginative storytelling and plenty of dancing. Also appearing are Spellodies!, a Tāmaki Makaurau family band who deliver sets packed with catchy songs, comedy sketches, and audience participation for the whole family.
Captain Festus McBoyle's Travellin’ Variety Show is a high-energy vaudeville musical comedy troupe blending cheeky humour, sharp songs, and punk-rock spirit. Often compared to Monty Python and Spike Milligan, they deliver absurd, all-ages fun that’s weird, wonderful, and guaranteed to “float ya boat.”
