Vector Lights x Morning People Pride Party

Tāmaki Makaurau! Morning People is back on the waterfront for a special Pride edition, teaming up with Vector Lights for a sunrise party on Hobson Wharf.

On the decks, queen of hot girl techno, Love, Robbie.

A staple of the Tāmaki queer club scene, Love, Robbie is known for high-energy sets that don’t mess around. A regular across Karangahape Road dancefloors and having played CHURCH, Sapphic Sounds, Blackout, INK, The Naked World and beyond - her sound is fast, sweaty and built to move bodies. Expect driving techno, big drops, sexy edits and full-throttle euphoria.

Beyond the booth, Love, Robbie is a fierce supporter of queer creativity, running her own promotion platform Universal Love to uplift dance, music and community, and advocating for LGBTQ+ voices in professional spaces. That passion carries straight through to the dancefloor.

As the sun rises over the sparkling Waitematā, Vector Lights will glow on the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge. Artist Mars Cook is at the helm of this year’s Pride light show, illuminating the bridge with powerful queer narratives that celebrate Takatāpui and Rainbow communities. Also honouring the 40th anniversary of Homosexual Law Reform, Mars explores how this movement continues to shape contemporary queerness and inspire the next 40 years.

Using the sonic wizardry of Hedset headphones, you’ll be able to tune into the light show’s accompanying audio created by Mars Cook or lose yourself in the Love, Robbie dance music.

As always, Morning People is alcohol-free, wide open, and features complimentary side of dancefloor treats courtesy of Altezano Brothers coffee, All Good bananas, and Karma Drinks.

Please note, to share the love tickets are limited to one ticket per order.

Alcohol free, dress to sweat.
