The Albert-Eden & Puketāpapa Eco Festival aims to connect locals, create networks and see climate action solutions at a localised level. Supported by Albert-Eden Local Board, Puketāpapa Local Board and the Auckland Council’s Climate Action Teams, this festival shows what the power of collaboration can achieve between community champions, local libraries and community centres.
Meet your neighbours and discuss what local solutions to climate change we can take together, for more connected communities moving towards a greener, more sustainable future.
We invite you to get involved and try out something new. Whether you learn a new skill, build on the skill set you already have, explore eco-friendly transportation options or volunteer at the local community garden working bee. There will be something for everyone at the festival, including activities for the tamariki.
