We are delivering a rangatahi leadership program for young people (13-18yrs) living within the local area of Waimaahia.
The program takes place every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the school term, covering various values of leadership such as, whakaute (self respect), community awareness (whanaungatanga), service and engagement (mahitahi) and whai oranga (atunement).
With the ASB Polyfest well under way for all of our schools in Auckland, a main focus will be around nga mahi a rehia (Maori performing arts) i.e. patu, poi, rakau and kakahu making.
