Join Lisa for a fun, hands-on ‘Do It Yourself Mini Worm Farms for kids and whānau’. Each participant will be able to make one to take home, as well as learning how to take care of your worms and turn your organic matter into compost with your DIY farm.

Come and discover how easy it is to compost with worm farms you can make yourself! This workshop is a great opportunity for families to learn together about sustainable living and the benefits of composting. It’s not just fun for kids, but informative and engaging for adults too!

What to bring: Two ice cream containers with lids per participant. – A small bag of food scraps (e.g. veggie peels) to feed the worms.

Age limit: Recommended for children 8 years and older, for younger children please contact us. Each child attending must have their own ticket and be accompanied by an adult. Accurate registration helps us prepare materials and manage activities safely
