The Beautification Trust and Wiri Business Association have joined forces to bring you this special volunteer event to beautify our community and look after the Puhinui Stream, a critical waterway for our taonga species.
We’ll be picking up litter, clearing illegal dumping and removing pest plants along Kerrs Road and its surrounds, protecting Te Puhinui from pollution and saving its native vegetation from invasive species.
Meet at The Wirihana Hub building on the corner of Kerrs Road and Erina Road before joining a task team and heading out to get stuck in. Afterwards, we’ll celebrate your hard work with a yummy BBQ lunch!
Please bring:
- A hat
- A water bottle
- Closed-toe shoes
- Your enthusiasm!
When our awa thrives, so do we
The RSVP form will be released closer to the event.
