Nau mai, haere mai!
Join us at the Whau Stream to put native plants in the ground, which can:
- add stability to the stream banks
- absorb water in heavy rain
- provide a healthy habitat for our native birds and critters.
Gumboots or sturdy closed-toe shoes are essential. Bring a hat, rain jacket and gardening gloves if you have any.
Kids welcome but must be supervised. We’ll finish with a BBQ at the end.
Hosted by Dundale Eco Stream Community and supported by EcoMatters and Auckland Council’s Healthy Waters department.
