Delve into the past through the enchanted world of folklore and fairytales!

Explore the historic buildings and heritage gardens, where costumed villagers bring the past to life. Learn about much-loved storybook characters and discover more in a fairytale trail through the gardens.

Watch a live puppet show of Jack and the Beanstalk, try your hand at calligraphy or candle making and make your own enchanted forest crown led by tutors from Corban Estate Arts Centre!

Taste freshly baked goods hot from the coal range in Puhi Nui Homestead, and visit the sweet shop filled with old-fashioned lollies and fudge! The blacksmith will be at work in the forge, woodworkers in the carpenter’s workshop, and the schoolmistress ready to teach Victorian school lessons at 11.30am and 2.30pm.

Enjoy outdoor games and shows. There will be Morris dancing at 11am and 12pm and a bagpipe band at 12.30pm.

There will be lots of fun for everyone! Have brunch or lunch at Homestead Café and make a day of it.
