Women's Learn to Ride Programme.

Ever wanted to feel more confident riding a bike? Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to brush up on your skills, this welcoming programme for all women is designed to help you gain confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Join experienced cycle instructor Frankie Cole at Tumeke Cycle Space for a practical session where you'll learn at your own pace in a friendly, encouraging group.

Over the session you'll cover:

  • getting comfortable balancing
  • pedalling
  • braking
  • building confidence riding in different situations
  • safe riding skills
  • practical tips for everyday cycling.

Please bring:

  • comfortable clothing
  • a water bottle
  • your own bike and helmet if you have them - let us know in the booking form.

Need a bike or helmet? No problem! Let us know when you register and include your height so we'll do our best to have the right-sized bike ready for you.

This free programme is delivered by the Albert-Eden Climate Action Network and Tumeke Cycle Space, led by a trained and experienced cycle instructor. Supported by Funding from The Albert Eden Local Board.
