In partnership with Auckland Transport, this exhibition celebrates the history and future of public transport across Tāmaki Makaurau.

From today's City Rail Link, Aotearoa’s largest infrastructure project, to last century’s trams that ran along Queen Street, the exhibition showcases modes of public transport across the decades.

Through digital experiences and collection displays, visitors can immerse themselves in the stories, technology, and infrastructure shaping the way the city moves.

Drawing from the MOTAT collection, Walsh Memorial Library archives, City Rail Link and wider Auckland Transport archives, discover the map of Auckland’s public transport network past and present.
