Response 108 Howick Heritage Walk

Howick is a suburb in East Auckland with a long history going back to the arrival of the British Fencibles in 1847.

The Fencibles were veteran soldiers of the British army who established Howick as a defensive settlement for Auckland.

This one-and-a-half-hour tour of Howick showcases the village's deep and unique history within the wider Auckland region, highlighting heritage sights that span over 175 years of the town's history.
