Response 179 Journey Through Auckland's Heritage

Jump onboard for a community bus trip that travels through the complex heritage of Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland.

The journey will take the group to a significant heritage site such as Ōtuataua Stonefields. Through guides and discussion we'll explore:

  • Māori history
  • early settlement stories
  • the cultural significance of the land.

Our programme is all about learning, reflection and intercultural understanding while bringing people together through shared travel and experience.

A community picnic will be included to support wellbeing, connection and informal networking in a relaxed outdoor setting.

Join an event that strengthens our community bonds and celebrates the diverse histories that shape Aotearoa New Zealand.
