The Avondale Central Reserve upgrade is now complete and the reserve is being enjoyed by locals and visitors.
“Our board has taken steps to enhance the Avondale Central Reserve to give young people and families a great place to play,” says Whau Local Board Chair Catherine Farmer.
“A wonderful new learn-to-ride cycle track for children is in place as well as new netball shooting courts, a new turbo touch court and a futsal court – I encourage you to come down to give them a try."
“We also have something special planned for the reserve for later in the year with the company Spark – keep a look out!”
Avondale Central Reserve is located at 1951 to 1955 Great North Road, 28 Racecourse, Avondale.
