Weymouth Walkway is a paved path that runs approximately 4.5km alongside the Manukau Harbour and Puhinui Creek inlet.

The walkway’s coastal views are best at high tide, while at low tide you can go down to the beach via one of several side tracks to explore rock pools and observe the wide variety of coastal birdlife.

Adjacent reserves and grassed areas alongside the path offer many spots suitable for an autumn picnic.

The Weymouth coastline has significant heritage and ecological importance - it features archaeological sites, habitats for migratory birds and a mangrove forest around the northern end of the walkway.
