Puketāpapa Local Board has installed a new pedestrian crossing on Mt Albert Road outside Three Kings Plaza, using the board’s Transport Capital Fund.
The new crossing improves safety for pedestrians leaving the main shopping area near the junction of Mt Albert, Dornwell and Hayr roads. The installation of the crossing follows community consultation last year, which showed widespread support for a full crossing to replace the pedestrian refuge.
