A new grants policy is assisting community groups deliver projects and events in the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board area.
Hibiscus and Bays Local Board Chairperson Julia Parfitt says that grants totalling $73,170 are being allocated to sport and recreational, environmental, heritage, arts, events and community projects.
“These projects and events really benefit our communities and bring people together to celebrate who we are," she says.
“Importantly all grants are now linked to outcomes and initiatives in the local board plan and through these grants we are helping to improve our neighbourhoods.”
