Redevelopment is on the cards for Potters Park in Balmoral.
The Albert-Eden Local Board is calling for feedback on a draft concept plan for the park, which will provide an improved layout, better play experiences, structures and vegetation.
Key features of the draft plan include moving the junior play area further into the park and away from the busy road and water from the splash pad, and the potential for options like an off-road cycle trail and a community orchard.
“Potters Park is a popular destination for the community, especially during the summer months with the splash pad in operation," says Albert-Eden Local Board parks, open spaces and events portfolio lead Margi Watson. "We want to provide an upgraded layout and landscaping, and enhanced play and recreational experiences.
“We also want to improve the park’s layout and safety for youngsters using the play areas.”
